As a Home Boarding business, where numerous dogs are sharing our home all year round with both our family and our own animals; cleanliness, lack of smells and non spreading of germs is of paramount importance to us.
Before she passed away we had a wonderful golden retriever as well as our current two collies and no matter what we tried she always had a strange doggy smell about her, that the others never have. This was possibly down to her very thick coat which we had washed and clipped down regularly at the dog parlour to try and help, but the smell always came back after a day or two.
We purchased all kinds of pet products i.e. lotions and potions to ‘deodorise’, ‘sanitize’, ‘condition’ etc etc our dogs and home, but they all just seemed to ‘mask’ the smell for a short while and it soon returned. Having spent a considerable time talking to chemists and chemical blenders to perfect our ‘Rug Care’ system, we decided to do the same for the small animal world, wanting to produce the best possible pet products on the market that didn’t just cover up smells for a while but would actually eliminate a multitude of smells as well as protecting our beloved pets from harmful bacteria.
Above all else, we cherish the welfare of all pets in our care including our own. With that in mind we have put together and will continue to improve and add to this range of pet products by ‘Pet Care’.
