General on Horse Rug Cleaner:
Our Horse Rug Cleaner is a mild, but highly efficient and concentrated cleansing agent. It is specially formulated to force itself between the soil particles and push them off the fabric and has incorporated into it ‘easy rinse’ tecknology.
As ‘Horse Rug Cleaner’ is not formulated to attach to the fabric it is easier to rinse away, never leaves white spots, does not remove any remaining waterproofing from the rug, does not resist any subsequent re-waterproofing and is kinder to the horses skin.
Horse Rug Cleaner is pH neutral, so has no effect on the rugs repellency and is kind to horses hide. Unlike many other detergents and powders which can effect the water repellent finish or coating on horse rugs.
Horse Rug Cleaner is Detergent Free, Non-Toxic and Non-Hazardous, can be used in soft, hard, hot, warm or cool water.Horse Rug Cleaner does not foam in use, can be used in any type of washing machinery and actually helps clean the machine due to its unique formulation.

Directions for Horse Rug Cleaner use:
It is recommended to clean rugs and blankets twice per year and re-proof them at least once per year.
1. Remove any non-washable items from the rugs and blankets before washing.
2. Shake well before washing, to remove excess dirt and hair.
3. Dependant upon the size, type and condition of the rug or blanket use between 25 – 75 millilitres per indoor rug per wash or 50 – 100 millilitres per outdoor rug per wash.
4. Apply Horse Rug Cleaner in main wash at the temperature recommended in the manufacturers guidelines. ‘Horse Rug Cleaner‘ works effectively in hot, warm or cool water.
5. The rug or blanket can be air dried or heat dried as per the manufacturers guidelines. Where ‘Rug Care’ Re-Proofer, Anti-Bac or Cool & Fresh treatments are also to be added refer to their drying recommendations.
