‘Rug Care’ is not just a wash and re-proof product, but a complete Horse Rug Care and Treatment system for horses and their rugs and blankets. This system has been formulated by top textile chemists that understand the modern day needs of the equestrian community and their horses, it can be used on field rugs, stable rugs, numnahs, bandages and travelling boots etc.

All other detergents, powders and soaps available in the market are formulated to attach to the fabric and force out the particles of dirt from in-between the material strands. This often leads to the detergent that is attached to the fabric remaining and leaving white spots, this process also removes a large percentage of any original waterproofing on the horses rug. The remaining detergent is then not helpful to either the horses skin or any subsequent waterproofing or other treatment.

‘Rug Care’ Horse Rug Care Cleaner is formulated to force itself in-between the soil particles, push the soil particles off the fabric and prevent them from sticking together.

As ‘Rug Care’ is not formulated to attach to the fabric it is easier to rinse away, never leaves white spots, does not remove any remaining waterproofing from the rug, does not resist any subsequent re-waterproofing and is kinder to the horses skin. Subsequent re-waterproofing with this ‘Horse Rug Care’ system only then requires a top up and is subsequently cheaper to perform.

Not only is ‘Rug Care’ formulated differently, but it is the only comprehensiove horse rug care treatment system that can look after both the health and welfare of your horse(s). Rug Cares ‘Bac Remover’ removes all bacteria that is harmful to horses during a pre-wash, then you can prevent those bacteria from returning to the rug(s) by final rinsing with ‘Anti-Bac’.
